Cinnamon Butter cream Frosting


  • 1/2 cup (1 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups confectioners sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • generous pinch of kosher salt


1. Cream the butter with beater or in a standing mixer with a paddle attachment.

2. Add 2 cups confectioners sugar, 2 tablespoons of milk, vanilla, cinnamon and a generous pinch of kosher salt.

3.Mix until thoroughly combined.  Add the remaining cup of confectioner’s sugar.  Mix it all together until it lightens a little and is spreading consistency.  You can add a little more milk if you need to.
